Teacher Review: Power Yoga – “Zoe Stewart”

I’ve had some wonderful private lessons at home taught by Zoe Stewart, an extremely capable and inspirational teacher. Our small group absolutely loved Zoe’s style and we’ve all become massive Stewart enthusiasts.

Power Yoga

Zoe first tried yoga on various trips to India some years ago and fell in love. She later trained at the Power Yoga Company in Fulham and is now certified to teach with the Yoga Alliance.

Personal yoga style

Zoe tells students that she became hooked on all things yoga because of the amazing physical strength and flexibility which she was able to achieve. In turn, she encouraged us to develop our own strength and we certainly felt the benefits of this focus as the months went on. With her help, we found ourselves achieving things we never thought previously possible. Zoe taught us many stretches, exercises and routines which were easy to remember and could be practiced during the week.

Live with grace, gratitude and good humour

Zoe believes that yoga can benefit the mind, not just the body, and teaches students that if practiced properly it can enable you to live with grace, gratitude and good humour. Zoe certainly displays all of these characteristics and is an easy, breezy and very approachable teacher. Her lovely, warm and inspirational presence means that she was particularly good when working to encourage beginners and she helped to inspire members of our group to keep trying.

Zoe’s also comfortable with more advanced yogis too and she can help students of any level. On her home visits, she’s happy to work with groups or individuals.

We can’t recommend this wonderful teacher highly enough!

Zoe charges £40 per hour for a home lesson. If you’d like to book a lesson, contact her on zoeyoga@hotmail.com

Zoe also regularly teaches at the Power Yoga Company off Parsons Green www.thepoweryogaco.com

In her spare time, multi talented Zoe also produces and sells some gorgeous Indian inspired clothing and jewellery, why not check her funky site www.saraandzoe.com
