Yin yoga is a deep practice that encourages suppleness within, both in body and mind. It’s a great way to end a busy week as it engenders a calm state of being.
Yin Yoga complements dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga. Yin style encourages prana (life force/ energy) to flow throughout the body’s connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active styles of yoga.
This Friday night session in West Hampstead will encompass floor poses, short meditation and a guided relaxation.
