If you’re looking for a good start to 2011 and you haven’t tried yoga before, sign up to Mimi Kuo-Demeer’s beginners’ course at the Lifecentre in Notting Hill. Mimi is an inspiring teacher – full of energy, warmth, kindness and patience. She will help you get through the challenges of starting yoga and will hopefully instill a life long passion and pursuit of yoga.
“This 6 week course introduces the classic body of yoga postures (asanas) and basic sequences, including sun salutations. A focus on healthy alignment principles and an introduction to breathing practices (pranayama) will help build strength and flexibility, as well as cultivate greater mental clarity and calm. This workshop is perfect for students new to yoga or for those students wishing to revisit the fundamentals.
On completion of the course you will have the experience, confidence and knowledge to attend most Level 1 and Level 1-2 yoga classes”
