Yoga Event: Sound Meditation and Gong Bath – Evolve, South Kensinton

Sound meditation with gong and tibetan singing bowls

sound meditation south kensington

Experience the universal sound of the gong and Tibetan singing bowls. Allow the sounds to take you into a state of peaceful meditation and let it touch you deeply at a cellular level. Let go of any expectations and experience total relaxation and connection with the Sounds of the Universe.

  • Strengthens self-confidence, creativity and motivation
  • Stress reduction through deep relaxation and endorphin release
  • Promotes deeper sleep
  • Activates self-healing mechanisms within the body

The gentle and harmonious sounds of gong and Tibetan singing bowls are absorbed through the ear and quickly lead to deep, long lasting relaxation. The rhythmic sound vibrations are transmitted to the body. Sound massage creates an atmosphere of safety and security, in which it is possible to let go of stress, anxiety, worry. In this soothing atmosphere, we can again come in contact with our needs, our “inner wisdom”.

When: every 1st Friday of the month | 7 – 8 pm

Price: £15 | per person

Dominika has played Gongs and Tibetan singing bowls for many years, being inspired by Gong master Don Conreaux. It is her passion to promote harmony and unity using natural mandala.

Class: “Vinyasa Flow – West Hampstead”

Class description

Classes are appropriate for students of all levels, including beginners. Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic form of Hatha yoga. Poses flow from one to the next, in tune with the breath. For each class, I choreograph bespoke sequences, based on different themes. I offer modifications to make poses accessible for beginners as well as variations to challenge more experienced students to their heart’s content!

Our philosophy

Yoga enables us to be in touch with our bodies in new ways. I experiment with poses, inviting students to stretch, bend, and explore different perspectives on the world. You will develop endurance and flexibility, discovering parts of your body you didn’t even know existed! Yoga is a moving meditation, focusing on the breath as an anchor for the mind, to keep us present and in the moment.

Come to my classes expecting to be challenged physically and mentally. Expect to leave feeling like a new person! Please see my website for further info: www.carolinedollar.com

Events: Yoga in the Park – “Kensington Palace Gardens”

yoga in the park

If you go down to the park this weekend, you’ll be sure of a big surprise! For every yogi will be practicing outside in the park with yoga teacher Liz. It’s not often we Londoners get to experience the joy of practicing yoga outside but it is a wonderful thing to do. And this way, you won’t feel silly doing it all by yourself. Curious passer-bys may stare but you can share the attention with the group!

Starting Saturday, May 14th, I will be teaching yoga every week on the lawn of Kensington Palace Gardens. There is nothing like practicing outside to reconnect with the earth and oneself, and practicing in a group to benefit the lives of others both extends the connection from the earth to all beings, and from the mat into daily life.

Find out more…

When?

Saturday’s, 9:00am-10:30am

They provide everything from in-school therapy to full live-in care for children to young adults, and a variety of programs in-between such as after school programs and mealtime programs, depending on the needs of the individual.
